As part of our ongoing commitment to education, SafeAmerica Credit Union offers a scholarship program to our members pursuing their educational goals.

At SafeAmerica Credit Union, we pride ourselves on providing our members with products and services to get you where you want to go. Our commitment is to be your financial partner in life's journey. We recognize that as life changes, so do your financial needs and one of those big life changes is attending college. That's why we're excited to offer our $1,000 Scholarship Program to students in our community. In the spirit of giving back to our community, we want to hear from you.
If you're a high school senior or currently attending college, you are eligible to apply. Submit your application for a chance to win one of five, $1,000 scholarships.
This program takes place January - March. Please check back next year for our 2021 Program.
Congratulations to our five college scholarship recipients who each received $1,000 for their winning submission. Every year, SafeAmerica Credit Union offers students a chance to win one of five $1,000 scholarships by submitting an essay about how they envision SafeAmerica being able to help them achieve their future financial goals. This year we received 37 submissions and the five winners are:

Scholarships are eligible to students who will graduate high school in the same semester the scholarship application is due, as well as those already in college. There is not an age limit. At the time of application and when the funds are awarded all applicants must be both a member in good standing and have a cumulative grade point average of at least a B (3.0). College students must have completed 12 semester or 16 quarter units. Additionally, proof of registration at an accredited college or university is required before the scholarship funds are disbursed. SafeAmerica Credit Union employees are not eligible to apply.
